Golden Sea Chinese - BLUE BELL

Always a darling. We compared all Chinese foods with them and others always came short. Unfortunately the first time) the food was barely cut. The brown rice was muddy. The Wantons had no taste. My main course was also tasteless. I was disappointed with dinner.

Very bad quality We ordered on 3-29-21 with guests for dinner and after having ordered many times in recent years I had the 8 miles drive the food was the worst Chinese I ever had. Cashew chicken had nothing soggy Cashews like the chicken. The vegetable weaving my guest would not eat it looked old very disappointing.

I've been eating here for almost 20 years. Food and service were always good. Yesterday it was terrible! The shrimps with snow bses were very dry and the pork was burned. When I call her, call tomorrow when the owner is here. When I called today, everything they did was to tell me how good they are and always say they bring back so I can show the cook. Not happening! So disappointing. They are a bit expensive so I think I need a new place to buy Chinese food!

The food was not like it use to, they charge for everything, this is the first Chinese restaurant I went to that does not sell white rice and Chicken together, I ask for that specific and was told i of to order separately because its a separate charge for the white rice and a separate charge for the chicken wings. The wait time was not bad because I understand the pandemic When I get the food, it have no taste, it seems like they just throw the noodles in the pot and pure one sauce over it. Have eaten here before and today was the worst, not only that my food have on odor

Very fast from time of order to leaving with my food! Egg rolls were hot but heavy on vegetables with little if any of meat or seafood. The shrimp toast was excellent golden brown and crisp on the outside, tasty and moist inside with a decent amount of shrimp. The sweet sour was excellent and spicy but not too spicy. The General Tso's chicken, contained large pieces of perfectly breaded and seasoned chicken, but the sauce was watery and week tasting. Same with the Scallops in garlic sauce, very watery, no body to it with little taste other than spicy. Overall, dinner was ok, but not at the top of my list to order from again.
