Cantaberry - Blue Ridge

Delicious lunch I would never have known to try if a local hadn't proposed it. We have high expectations that are rarely met, but that was one of the (unexpected! better meals of our trip. The Broccoli cheddar soup, wild rice soup, the Rueben – all drool worthy reasons we plan to go back before we go home... Also elements that are enjoyed by our small children (we do not order from the children's menu, so no input there, which is always a victory. The service was also fast and reliable as we went on a weekday.

The chicken and wild rice soup is amazing definitely exceeded my expectations! I ordered an egg salad sandwich with bacon on gluten free bread, amazing amazing amazing! My husband ordered a classic Pastrami sandwich that he said was good. Service was great! We will definitely be back!

What a great spot for lunch! Mushroom and Brie soup is amazing! Turkey Reuben was delicious as was hubby’s pastrami and Swiss. And the lemon bar topped it off. If you’re looking for a friendly place with great service and really good food, this is your spot.

We discovered Cantaberry by accident years ago, but it has become our go-to sandwich shop whenever we visit Blue Ridge (a few times per year). Nothing is exceptional, but everything is consistently good and reasonably priced. Club sandwich and tomato bisque soup always hit the spot. Service can be VERY slow around lunchtime, but always friendly.

CLASSIC Great location and fast service. We got the special of the day (the champion) a chicken salad sandwich, fruit bowl and pasta salad. The past salad was the item that needed some improvement, since it had not much taste and the pasta was too “al dente”. Overall, great option for lunch. Would come back.
