San Juan River Kitchen - Bluff

What a nice surprise...There are only two restaurants open in Bluff during the winter season, but we were happy to find this delicious little restaurant. They are not open on Friday or Saturday, but our pizza on a Sunday evening was really tasty. We had a pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive pizza and it had a generous amount of toppings and fresh mushrooms on it and just the right amount of cheese. We did takeout due to Covid, but it was still hot when we returned to our room at the Desert Rose Inn. We had friendly and efficient service. We will return on our next visit thru Bluff...give it a try!

I went to this restaurant and ordered some pizza while staying in Bluff. I came into the restaurant and ordered a cheese pizza. I sat at a table and waited for the pizza to be ready. The walls were quite bare and the chairs were quite uncomfortable. When the pizza came, I ate it and it tasted delicious. I received good service in a timely manner, which I liked. I had a good experience at this restaurant. Even thought the decorations were a bit drab and the chairs were quite uncomfortable, the food definitely made up for it.

We came in from out of town hoping to visit the four corners. We were sad to find that it was closed. So we got back in the car and kept on going to our hotel. We had been driving for the last 8 hours so everyone was hungry. Most of the restaurants here in bluff Utah are currently closed because of covid 19. The lady at the hotel lobby told us about this place. My husband is pretty tired of pizza, lol so he was not thrilled about having to eat from here. I called in the order and got two large pizzas, a hot dog for one of the kids and the three taco special for the hubby. We went to go do our pickup, there was really nobody there other than the employee. I kind of looked like just a little hole in the wall. not something that really stood out driving by. We went in, the girl was so incredibly nice! Friendly, happy, and informative. The food was ready on time as promised. She recommended a few places for us to go and check out which was nice, cuz we have no idea where we are lol. We got back to the hotel and ate. I can tell you that everything that we ordered was delicious! The hot dog didn't last more than 2.3 seconds, my husband inhaled the tacos commenting how tasty they were. The pizza is a thin crust with light sauce, very very yummy. If you're ever in this neck of the woods, make sure you stop in for some food. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice surprise in this unassuming little restaurant. The food was good, good quantity and well priced.

Business owner is friendly, hardworking, band honest. She runs a great pizza place with fresh ingredients, and everything appears to be made from scratch. This place is also open year round which is the downside to most other businesses in this area. I tried the Mediterranean, and it was delicious.
