Captain Woody's Seafood - Bluffton

Fish and chips were horrible. Appearance and taste as if it were out of the frozen section at the grocery store.

If I could do no stars I would. If you’re looking for a place with overpriced bad food then this is it. Overcooked shrimp, not fresh oysters, and the worst hush puppies I’ve ever had. There were flies in and out of the bottles of sauce on the table and in and out of the straws. Long John silvers is cleaner, cheaper, and better than this place.

We stopped by for lunch on our way to Hilton Head Island and enjoyed everything we ordered. It was a casual atmosphere with friendly waitresses. We had chili, fried clam strips, blackened fish and shrimp, and oysters. We would go back if we visit the area again.

Everything was great, the burger is only a 4 star. Everyone that got seafood loved it.

We have been going to Hilton Head for years. This was our first Captian Woody's visit. We pulled up and we saw UK and a Kentucky state flag. Being from KY and UL fans we laughed and said how ironic. Great bar experience during our wait for a table. We snacked on some shrimp nachos and had a beer and sweet tea. FANTASTIC iced tea! Got our table looked at all the UK memorabilia and we ordered the crab cake sandwich, broiled choose 3 and shrimp pasta. Ordered oysters on the halfshell and pimento cheese. EVERYTHING was AMAZING! The pasta salad was amazing as well. Portions were great size. For a party of 3 adults with 2 apps the price was spot on! This University of Louisville family can not wait to comeback next July for our yearly vacation!!
