Saba Fine Asian Dining Sushi Lounge

I’ve been to almost every sushi Thai resturants in South Florida – and NONE compare to the experience of Saba.

Another issue I've encountered is the unavailability of mochi, one of their desserts. Even though it’s listed on the menu, I’ve been there enough times to count that they’ve never had it. If you can’t keep it in stock, either remove it from the menu or at least note its unavailability. So why do I rate the restaurant three stars? First, the ambiance at Saba's is genuinely pleasant; it’s well-decorated and creates a comfortable yet slightly upscale atmosphere. Second, the food, while not great, is decent. The third star goes to the friendly service; it's not easy to find good service these days. However, I do have a complaint about their inconsistent water service. Depending on your server, you might or might not get water. Regular tap water isn’t offered unless you opt for bottled. My dining partner and I were told several times that we wouldn't be served water, despite being paying customers who typically spent $30–$50+ on our meals, and even though we had been served water in the same spot before. Overall, my experience at Saba's has been mixed. I don't think I’ll be returning, as I've tried enough times and found more cost-effective dining options that offer greater satisfaction. Ultimately, I don't feel like I get my money's worth at Saba's.

I work next door and frequently enjoy meals at this restaurant. I absolutely love the food and am consistently pleased with my dishes. I highly recommend Saba for a delicious and healthy meal any time.

Additionally, the head chef insisted that we use avocados that were moldy. The entire supply of avocados was contaminated with mold, which I believe is against health regulations. Although I was only there for 5-6 hours, I wasn't able to ascertain how they manage their fish rotation. However, the fish I handled that day was quite slimy and had a strong odor. I couldn't tolerate the way they operated their business, so I chose to leave. I fear that if they continue with these practices, they may face legal issues down the line.
