Electric Coffee - Boerne

I love this coffee shop. Large selection of teas and coffees. Yummy pastries, delicious smoothies. And best of all cozy atmosphere and super service. We support our local Boerne companies!

Very good coffee that goes perfectly with Bakery Lorraine pastries. (BL is well known for the BEST pastries in San Antonio. Nice to be able to SAVOR them in Boerne with a quality cup of coffee. This is the only breakfast place in Boerne that has quality, flavorful coffee. Thank you ELECTRIC COFFEE!

I am currently a youth pastor for a starting church called TLC3 (The living church). We are currently meeting in the nearby Comfort inn hotel on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Wednesday nights the adults have an in-depth teaching and discussion about Scriptures, usually related to the verse by verse expository teaching from the previous Sunday morning sermon. We only rent the one conference room for the church to meet in so my youth have nowhere to meet. Me and my leaders went out to the first business we came across which was electric coffee. We walked in and they were already closed but the owner was very generous and offered to stay open a little later than they usually do on Wednesday nights to provide a place for me to bring my youth group for our youth lesson. Aside from the generosity that they have extended towards us, all of the coffee and other beverages that we have purchased from there has been excellent. He also seems to have quite a bit of knowledge for what he is doing and it seems like he has a lot more plans for his business as it continues to grow.

That's all a local coffee shop should be. Prices are in line with other coffee shops, and less than many (Latte and Americanos are a dollar less than cupcake). The owners of this place are very friendly and welcoming, they seem more like good friends than shop owners. Once in a while, they host young local musicians, and these are really special occasions; hope they increase the frequency of these concerts. The place is very clean, has interesting and stimulating decoration and visited by an intelligent and interesting clientele. IMHO, everyone who gives a place like this a negative rating, misses the point of local small businesses, I think!

I like coffee shop hops. I work from the comfort of various coffee houses and Electric Coffee is my coffee of choice in the Greater San Antonio area; the staff are real and the coffee is great. It seems to be a few and far between to find a place where you are expected to engage with someone new almost every day - that was the point of the Coffee House Clif Harrison created a place where you can do exactly that.
