Bistro 55 - Bogota

I came here for a wine/beer yoga class that they offer in their private room. The class was so much fun and a great way to work out. After the class we hung out around had some drinks and food. I had the wings and fries which both for good. The service was on point and I really love the décor and vibe of this place. I heard they had an amazing brunch which I will try soon. They do offer two happy hours one from 4-7pm and a late one from 10-12 I really loved how they had mouthwash in the bathroom, a really nice touch :

Came here for a late weekday lunch and it worked out well .At first when I walked in, the music was so loud I would have been inclined to leave.But the bartender dash server turned off the music in the dining room and it was fine.They have a good beer list although alot of items were not availible.We had a grill cheese and a short rib sanwich which were well above average.The place is attractive and the service was very nice and accomodating.A good place if you're in the area.

Overall it's a 3.5. If you're going to come here then come for the drinks, not the food! They have an amazing beer craft selection. I got the Kane Sneakbox and the Pipeworks Mango Guppy. Both were amazing and would definitely get again. As for the food, it was eh. I got the crispy chicken sandwich which was true to its word... very crispy. In fact, it was too crispy to the point where I couldn't finish it. There weren't any memorable flavors and I wouldn't get it again. My friend got the nachos which were okay, but again nothing that I would be dreaming about. On the plus side, our waiter was really nice and efficient. We came here for lunch and he was the only bartender around, but still managed to take care of us.

If a restaurant is average I usually do not leave a review, but the food here is so bad I have to. The cheese inside of the grilled cheese sandwich was solid blocks, NOT melted at all! I ordered the burger, medium and it was completely rare. They messed up 2 alcohol orders and it took them 15 minutes to bring my coke. I only gave them 2 stars because the interior is very cute and industrial. The food is terrible.

This review is for my 7/30/18 visit when they did All You Can Eat Mussels over the summer. With the purchase of a beverage, you get as many as you'd like for only $12.95. I went in the early evening during happy hour and they also honored drink prices with the mussels so I got a large pour of wine AND my choice of four flavors for less than $20! WHAT??!! I chose the Thai Style Green Coconut Curry. I was given a dozen small to medium sized ones in each bowl with a basket of country white bread. They were very delicious and when I ordered more they came very quickly. Service is always knowledgeable and delightful here.
