Bistro de La Candelaria - Bogotá

Menu is very simple. We had fish soup and beef in wine sauce. Soup was thick and creamy. Beef was done medium like I asked, it was a clean cut of meat, soft to eat, decent size for the money if a bit lacking in taste. It was served with one potato and the salad as was flavored with shop bought vinaigrette. Other than that, we enjoyed the meal. Iced coffee is very good too

Wow we had just finished a bottle of nice malbec (Benjamin Nieto Senetiner) for 50k and had amazing lunch. Set deal which was amazing and a fettuccini Carbonara. Really recommend this place for very nice and affordable meal in Colombias capital. Mind you this place is only open till 4pm.

Impeessive small cozy restaurant. Excellent food, I had a steak, if you sit downstairs you can appreciate the chef at work. Very nice friedly staff, sort of family owned restaurant. Not so expensive for the high quality of the dishes. Comfortable sitting with a fire place downstairs. I highly recomend this restaurant. You cNnot go wrong here.good background music too. Nice setting and atmosphere.
