China Grand Buffet - Boise

Loved the popcorn shrimp, and the service waitress was the best bar none. The American opposites (service waiters) could use some instructions from the Orient in HOW to RESPECTFULLY TREAT A CUSTOMER. I praise the owner in his selection of employees, as well as the employees for their exemplary service.

I spent an evening with my family at the China Grand Buffet and enjoyed my stay a lot. The selection of foods is excellent different soups, different styles of chicken, pork, seafood, rice and noodles, sushi, all kinds of desserts. The quality of food is very good, the staff is very friendly. Moreover, prices are modest.

Was really good! Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because its selection is limited to differently cooked chicken. No selection for beef or like coconut shrimp, Fried sushi was cold. Why make 2 full rolls of fried sushi at the same time? It needs to be made fresh so maybe make smaller portions at a time...

The food isn’t as good as it used to be unfortunately. I’ve gone back despite this a handful of times because my family loves this place. This most recent visit, several things were like they had sat out in the buffet all day (like the green beans) and we were there at a busy time. The egg roll was kind of tough and chewy. The chicken and broccoli tastes like they barely cook the broccoli or they don’t cut the florets smaller so they get cooked. Everything else was fine though. Sad the hibachi hasn’t been open in a long time due to staff shortage.
