Starbucks - Bolingbrook

This is just light ice?! I paid $6 and barely received any actual drink.

Brand new establishment, but the staff and management left much to be desired. They wanted to charge $4 for a Venti iced water with just a splash of lemonade—something that should have been complimentary or very cheap. Despite my purchase of two other drinks, they made a strange assumption that I was trying to take advantage of the company due to a TikTok trend, which the manager brought up unnecessarily. Overall, it felt very condescending and unfriendly. I’m seriously considering taking this further.

I used to enjoy visiting this location, but my recent experience was disappointing. The staff was unreasonably rude, tried to overcharge me, and refused to correct their mistakes. I ordered a peppermint mocha, but when it was prepared, Charlie made it as a mocha with peppermint syrup instead. When I noticed the price was higher than I expected, I explained that I had requested a peppermint mocha. Instead of making the correction, he insisted that it was the same thing. I had to argue with him, pointing out the price difference, before he finally agreed to change it. The difference was only 80 cents, and he didn’t offer any apology. It seemed like he couldn't spare a moment to rectify his mistake, and he claimed to be the manager!

I believe this is the worst Starbucks, I ordered a venti ice coffee with 7 pumps of classic syrup and cream was not given any cream. I also ordered a grande iced coffee with blonde espresso and three pumps of vanilla, instead I was given a shot of espresso with vanilla. When I went up to the register to get it fixed the cashier was very rude “i literally asked you”. He was also wearing his headset while taking my order. I had to repeat myself more than once. I was very nice about it and I didn’t appreciate the attitude. I had another experience with the same employee was rude and i ordered a strawberry açaí and a matcha latte with coconut milk. He put coconut milk in all of my drinks. I didn’t make a fuss and left. At this point I hate that I was given attitude when I was super nice about it.

Becca is so sweet! She makes me feel like I’m at a small coffee shop. She remembers my order and face every time! So cute. She’s always in the most positive, best mood ever.
