Caldwells - Bolton

I was actually really shocked by this place and had really low expectations. However their appetizers were incredible! Loved their gnocchi and their calamari! Whatever Riesling they serve by the glass was absolutely delicious.

A gorgeous bar, in a gorgeous hotel, with incredible views. But absolutely third-world service, complete with unhelpfulness and attitude. C'mon guys, hire help that meets the high standards of the hotel you are operating out of.

Terrible bartenders who sit around an talk trash about their patrons...the waitresses are nice and the pizza is decent, but don't waste your time coming here.

We decided to have the Antipasta Della Casa, which is basically cold cuts and cheese. It was a delicious mid afternoon snack. The board includes jams as well as dehydrated fruits and nuts. It was a well balance meal. The highlight of the meal for me was the fig and honey jam.

During our stay at The Sagamore, we dined at Caldwell's La Bella Vita and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The drinks were also excellent. I ordered a filet with lobster tail, while my wife opted for the filet. The appetizers were also very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a delicious meal in a beautiful setting, even if it comes at a slightly higher price point.
