Starbucks - Bon Air

For the most part I like this particular Starbucks but this time around I had a young man take my order for a tea. It took 30 minutes to get my drink. I asked the first time after ten minutes and a young lady said it was busy it will come soon. So I waited the sat down ate my sandwich and tea still was not made. I went to the counter told the same gentleman you have not made my tea. I made it for me but by then I was really ready to get outta there. Very disappointed in the service on this occasion.

As he began making my strawberry lemonade refresher, I noticed him pull an un-rinsed mixing cup from a nearby sink. This sink has a spout designed for quick and effective rinsing to prevent cross-contamination. The cup he chose had been sitting in what he referred to as pumpkin foam since I arrived. As he poured the drink mixture into that cup, I could see the foam clinging to the sides. Concerned, I spoke up since he hadn’t rinsed the cup. Me: "What’s that stuff in the sink?" Him: "Probably just pumpkin foam." Me: "There’s foam on the cup you’re using to make my drink." Him: "Do you want me to remake it or something?" (He sounded clearly irritated at this point.) Me: "I mean, yeah. That’s kind of gross." He then dumped the drink into the sink, spilling it all over the ground, before starting to make my new drink. While doing so, he said, "Bruh." I thanked him and apologized if my request seemed too strong, explaining that food touching bothers me. He interrupted me with a forced smile, saying, "It’s fine." Overall, I was very disappointed with the extremely slow service, unsanitary practices, and the attitude I received from this worker. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for asking for my paid drink to be made in a clean manner.

This particular location is my go-to place every single day. This morning, however, was not going well, and we were in a rush to get our morning fix, which was ready and waiting for us. Unfortunately, car trouble threw a wrench in our plans. The staff here went above and beyond to help us! They do this every day, but today truly highlighted just how incredible they are. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you!

They got my order wrong, but it was still delicious. I was bringing it to someone else, and they really enjoyed it as well.
