Service - 3/5 Value for Money - 2/5 Ambience -2/5 Average food with not so good taste. Highly expensive with no reason. Just because you are situated at Bondi doesn't mean that you can charge anything you want to.
I came to this place back in 2011 and it was thriving and the food was amazing so after returning to Bondi for the first time since then thought we'd give it a try again. The place is so run down now it looks so unappealing buttt the waiter that drew us in had the brightest outgoing personality so that's why we chose to stay. Our garlic bread lacked flavour and the bread was hitting the stale side but the osso bucco was so nice! The sauce was perfect! But as I can't stand the texture and slimy feel of fat I barely ate any of the meat (which was so soft it fell apart) and the mash potatoes were inconsistent and chunky and sometimes crunchy. But yeah the sauce made the dish. Mash wasn't bad enough for me to not love the flavour in this.
Oyster is a plain dish. I tried the pizza Maxicana twice. Delicious! Dining out on a sunny day will give you a good view of Bondi Beach! A good choice for casual dining...
We were just walking by when we found this place. Staff was a little pushy as you would get back at Lygon Street in Melbourne. Calamari was good and tender. Pizza was pretty good as well. But way overpriced. Waiter was friendly but a little bit vague when it came to answers about the dishes.
