Central Baking Depot - Bondi Junction

Take some croissants with 9 o'clock Saturday morning. I have to go home to find them yesterday, but at today's price, not happy and feeling torn down.

The central baking depot brought a small sunshine to a particularly gloomy, rainy morning. the great selection of sweet and savoury should be enough options for any mood in which they are. I was (unsafe) in the mood for sweetness, so I tried a nutella brioche with a chai latte. the brioche was beautiful and filled with custard. I think I'd like more musella in the filling. the latte was nicely seasoned and not too sweet. I took a believing of her inscription sourded that was tangie and chew as I like it! the friendly staff was also quick to deliver my order. will be back!

Bakes other days too. Great coffee and top pastries as well as friendly staff make for a winning formula. Popular with locals and the ubiquitous students who buy from here around their course times. Bake each day. Not just Friday, so food is fresh. BTW try their quince tart -it's beyond words! Nom nom nom

I found them late April and it's where I end up on my day off to pick up scrumptious pastries. Coffee needs a bit of work but the food and delicious breads more than make up for it 11 Jul, 2010 Must try their quince tart! It's heavenly! Nom nom nom
