Luna Azul Mexican Cafe - Bonham

I ordered the beef burritos topped with spicy queso, and they were absolutely delicious. The chips were served fresh and hot, and the salsa was fantastic. The refried beans had amazing flavor too. I'm so glad I discovered this gem of a restaurant. If you go, be sure to ask for LeAnne; she was my server today and was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning!

The food was decent, but a bit overcooked, and it took quite some time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Among the Mexican restaurants in town, this one is the best, but it's certainly not the best I've ever visited. On the plus side, they offer unlimited sodas for just $1.50. The waitress was excellent and very friendly, which is why I gave an extra star; otherwise, I would have rated it only three stars.

We absolutely love Mexican food and have traveled across the U.S. for rodeos, trying countless places along the way. Without a doubt, our favorite restaurant is Luna Azul in Bonham, TX! I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with Sour Cream sauce, accompanied by the Pinata Salad and rice. It was incredibly delicious! I also requested to swap one of the chicken enchiladas for a beef one, and the beef was fantastic as well. The staff was very accommodating with this change. We were impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the restaurant! Luna Azul ticks all the boxes for a perfect dining experience. We highly recommend you check it out! We're already sad thinking about how far we’ll have to travel back to Bonham, Texas just to enjoy our favorite Mexican cuisine. We’re both from Florida and we give it 5 STARS!
