Fresco Grill - Bonsall

We had a party of four and were seated right away. Our server was clearly a newer employee as he wasnt familiar with the drink options and menu. He still did a good job waiting on us and made sure that we were taken care of. Everyone in my party enjoyedtheir meal. I had the stuffed pork chop. Overall the meal was good but my porkchop was rather tough which is the only reason Iam giving four stars.

The food at this restaurant is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I attempted to order a cocktail from their online menu, only to find out that the menus weren’t updated and no cocktail options were available. Instead, I ordered a bourbon and diet Coke, which ended up costing $11.50—$10 for the bourbon, $1 for the mixer, and an additional $0.50 just for serving it on the rocks. I didn’t realize that putting ice in a glass came with an extra charge! Furthermore, it took an unusually long time to receive my drink and to place my food order. I won’t be returning.

The food and service were excellent, but I really wish they hadn't turned off the air conditioning. My companions and I were sweating the whole time because it was so warm inside. It made for an uncomfortable experience, and we couldn't fully enjoy our dinner.

My rating reflects the service alone. A friend had placed an order and asked me to pick it up. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that my order was ready, but I couldn't get assistance from any staff members. I ended up waiting nearly 10 minutes before someone finally came to help me. The person who assisted me was very friendly, but it did take a while for anyone to attend to me. It was a busy Saturday night, so I’m not really complaining; just sharing an honest review. I definitely want to return and dine there, as the food looked fabulous!
