Írjon visszajelzéstNot that we went to Hungry Jacks with high expectations, but a few basic expectations being met would have been nice. Hungry Jacks so called line set up (or lack there of) is ridiculous and confusing, everybody ends up forming one big awkward line in the middle of the ordering area (which then blocks the doorway), then people are continually asking several people in front of them 'have you been served, have you been served...?' to work out where they should stand in the mish-mash of a line to place their order. The people working behind the counter had no urgency in taking orders, nor was there any pace in them collecting/putting the orders together. The person cleaning the dinning area didn't look like they wanted to be there, the tables weren't clean (and we had to wipe down our table top and chairs due to the amount of food, drinks and whatever else was left behind) and the minimal effort behind the sweeping and mopping was sad. The drive-thru area seemed to be moving at a good pace. The air con seemed to be working at the 'ordering area', however not in the dinning area, it was very hot and uncomfortable. The food was average, the chips looked like they'd been sitting there for too long and didn't look or taste fresh. The burgers were average, the outside 'rim' of the meat patty was burnt on both burgers. Don't get me wrong, this is no 5 star restaurant clearly and we didn't go here thinking that, it's a great hangover meal or when your up for a burger.... it'd be nice to be able to order your meal without the level of confusion with the line up, enjoy the air con and eat some food that was passable (should have gone to Maccas!) It is what it is.... it's Hungry Jacks so don't expect much, hoping a manager might see this review and have a look at their processes.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the portions are generous, all at a reasonable price.
The staff take one order at a time and EVERYONE waits while that order is prepared. Then the next person is served. The queue is long, not because the place is popular (most of the tables are empty) but because the service is so SLOW.The staff are incapable of getting the orders right. We were a family of four and two of our orders were wrong. My son received a 'Whopper' that was prepared WITHOUT A MEAT PATTIE. How can you have a 'Whopper' without a meat pattie? I don't know either but he was given one. My wife ordered a "Five for $5.95" meal which includes a "Drumstick" ice-cream, but she wasn't given one.This caused us to take note of how many other people went up to the counter with order problems and there were many. One woman asked for 'fresh' frozen drinks because the ones that she was given when placing the order were no longer frozen by the time she received her order.When are the owners of this business going to take an interest in their investment?When is 'Hungry Jacks' going to realize that when business' are run as poorly as this one, it harms their 'brand'?I have reviewed this 'eatery' before, because it is my 'local', and I remember when it was a pleasure to eat there, (back in the 'Jukebox' and 'Elvis' number plate days..
Last Saturday, at 1:00pm, I (and my family), visited Hungry Jacks, Booval, to see if management had got the message, and things had improved since my last review.Sadly, the answer is "NO!"As we stood and waited in the queue, a 'staff member' behind the counter called out "Sorry, but we don't have any beef left, only chicken, and the grill is not working."As you would expect, there was a mass exodus.I mean to say - this place goes from bad to worse. The 'Brand' is good, but this outlet is run by . . . . well, it is better to say that it is NOT run at all.
Today I received from Hungry Jacks no less than 4 emails that started with "Great Deals At Your Local Hungry Jacks", so I thought I would give them another try - after all, they contacted me for my business.We, (my family and I) arrived at 6:00 pm, but we shouldn't have bothered. The children behind the counter lacked adult supervision and it showed. There were three or four staff behind the counter and five or six more 'out the back'. There were four cash registers on the counter. and fourteen people (at times more) in the queue to get served which stretched out of the door, (not to forget the 'Drive-through').A recipe for success! . . . . . . . Sorry.Because of the lack of adult supervision only ONE order at a time was taken and filled before the next order was taken. The service was ridiculously slow. Less than a quarter of the tables were occupied at any one time because the taking of orders was so slow.No-one was on table-clearing the whole time we were there, and when we went to put our rubbish in the bin IT WAS FULL, so we had to put it on top. Why doesn't Management read these reviews and look at the figures and do something about it? Why don't they send a 'secret shopper' in?I want the business to improve, not to disappear.
