Írjon visszajelzéstThis cafe is housed in a beautifully restored Ipswich historical building with am adjoining courtyard to various business including Dancing Bean and Heisenburg Haus.I've had various coffees which are not their strength and acai bowls, they do have a good variety and everything including the cakes and slices are made in house. What it lacks is attention to detail and good hospitality staff.Outside tables were dirty on the few occasions I have been here and so are the menus.Again bistro style cutlery in open containers which I am not a fan of due the concept being quite unhygenic and I watched small children playing with the cutlery at one table only to watch their parent place it all back in.The acai bowls are reasonable and yummy not much in the presentation side and the staff seemed confused.Unreasonable long wait for two coffees and acai bowls neither were cooked just assembled.Seems to lack good hospitality management but has a great concept in a fantastic venue with delicious healthy breakfast and lunch options.Really could be improved but much better than Beans and Greens that has a similar concept.
We stopped in for lunch before seeing a movie, and on an earlier occasion, just for tea and coffee. The ambience is charming - old and rustic, but fresh and clean. The menu was a little limited, but the food was tasty. My Falafel burger was lovely and crispy, although presentation was lacking somewhat with my gluten free bread warmed rather than toasted properly. Both our burgers came with fries, but there were not many to count. My Chai latte was very flavoursome, and not sweet like most. Also, the fact that we had to order at the counter was not communicated to us when we arrived and asked for menus, so after quite a wait for the expected table service, we enquired at the counter and ordered then. Service improved later, with a change of staff. Overall, a good enough lunch was enjoyed, but a note to staff that service and presentation could be better.
Even though Nourish is one of the newer cafes in Ipswich, with it's popularity, it's hard to believe that this place hasn't already been reviewed.
The food is "ok"The price isn't greatThe food doesn't justify the priceThe bacon is chewy and tough.
Good value, good breakfast spot. Counter service but the food and coffees came out quickly.
