Írjon visszajelzéstVery disappointing meal for lots of reasons... we were a largish group but always very patient, but this particular Saturday evening our nerves were pushed to the limit... suffice to say some mains arrived with the starters, but then some of the mains didn't arrive for VERY long time... this was blamed on the pizza oven but funnily enough everyone else meals keep on coming, even though we'd ordered before other tables. Also it wasn't clear why there was a long delay for the Cinghiale main with olives normally very succulent this was as tough as old boots and far too salty! Anyway, as a group, we felt forgotten about and even had to chase up more water and beer we'd asked for! They also cocked up the order, for which we were given a pizza for free and then, as we went up to pay they reduced the bill by 4.5 Euros!!! On a bill of 165 Euros, this was a bit of an insult to be honest. Very very disappointing... sadly.
First, TripAdviser has the location wrong. This restaurant is in Dezza, a couple of km west of Diecimo. It’s a lovely, small local restaurant with an outdoor area the other side of the quiet village street. There are lots of different pizzas and a short a la carte menu, plus occasional specials. House wine comes in carafes, and there are a few different wines by the bottle. The service was very friendly and helpful, including turning off the TV on request and switching the Italian pop music to English-language rock music (not on request). Thoroughly recommended.
Turn off of the highway and follow the back roads to discover this hidden gem. We where a large group and the dealt with us very well, as always in Italy nothing is rushed and the value for money was amazing. I will be going back. I suggest booking, this place is popular for a reason, the food is amazing.
Lovely spaghetti alla carbonara. This is a very small family run restaurant with a pizza oven. It's open for prank di alvaro during the weekdays and in the evenings Friday-Sunday only. Now that La Fonte has closed, this may well be my new pace for a nibble. It is tasty Italian homemade food.
Wow, words cannot describe enough the taste, the quality and the well deserved price. The service is above excellent, three starters, three main dish, and three best ever tasted Tiramisu on earth plus bottle of wine and the bill was only €40. Absolutely a must to visit an unforgettable meal.
