Oh my goodness, what did I order? The special rolls were not the best. The combinations were strange. I had an extremely salty roll and another overly fishy roll. White fish and black fish oil eggs? Ewww.

This restaurant is great for takeout sushi. They offer good deals, like getting 3 rolls for only $13.

The sushi at this restaurant is excellent and well-priced. Just be careful because they are closed on Mondays.

Absolutely a hole-in-the-wall place by the very definition of the word. Hoshi Ya is primarily a take-out joint, but they have 4 seats inside and you'll receive great service and a personable experience with the chefs. The sushi is affordable and fresh.Some bad sushi has a very obvious taste that's not present here. The menu is diverse and you'll surely find anything you're inthe mood for.

This is our favorite sushi spot in town! The food is always consistently delicious. We highly recommend trying the 3 roll combination - it's a fantastic deal!
