Írjon visszajelzéstThe new owners at Redwood Liquor and Deli have really added a great new cuisine to try. The Bi Bim bop is veggies and a fried egg over rice. The bulgogi thinly sliced beef over rice and my favorite spicy pork over rice. The Deli has really stepped up its game. These doses are only available Friday and Saturday. Don't miss out all three are uniquely tasty in their own way! I didn't get to try the pork buns because they were sold out. So happy to have some new flavors in BC!
I recently discovered a charming little deli that left me utterly delighted and yearning for more. From the moment I entered, it was clear that this place had something special to offer. Allow me to introduce the incredible tri-tip sandwich that captured my heart and taste buds! Let’s start with the star of the show – the tri-tip itself. This deli undoubtedly knows how to prepare this cut of meat to perfection. The tri-tip was tender, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, exactly how I like it. Each bite revealed its rich and robust flavors, making me wish I could savor every single morsel. It was obvious that the chefs poured their heart and soul into crafting this sandwich, resulting in a true culinary masterpiece. But the attention to detail didn’t stop at the meat. The sandwich was thoughtfully assembled with ingredients that enhanced the flavors even further. The bun was fresh and lightly toasted, holding everything together beautifully. The toppings were abundant yet balanced, allowing the tri-tip to take center stage. Crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a tangy sauce provided the perfect amount of freshness and zest. What truly sets this deli apart is the evident love and passion in every aspect of their offerings. The staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring I had an exceptional dining experience. Their dedication to quality shone through, making me appreciate the sandwich even more. In addition to the outstanding tri-tip sandwich, the deli boasted a cozy ambiance that felt welcoming and homely. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a delicious meal, and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and the overall experience. If you find yourself in the area and love tri-tip, you absolutely cannot miss this little deli. Their tri-tip sandwich is a true work of art, crafted with love and attention. Trust me, once you take a bite, you'll be hooked. I’m already planning my next visit and can’t wait to indulge in their culinary delights again!
Before the new owners took over, Redwood was the best deli in town for a tri-tip sandwich. Now, expect to wait about 20 minutes for one sandwich, or better yet, call ahead. The quality of the deli has noticeably declined, and they have fewer offerings, like Dutch crunch bread. The tri-tip itself is completely different since the new owners didn’t acquire the original recipe (that's just hearsay, though). It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not what it used to be. I wish they would focus more on improving this aspect of the business, as I’m sure it’s where most of their profits come from.
I've been a regular at the Redwood Keg for many years, but I've noticed a decline in the quality of ingredients since the new owners took over. The new sandwiches aren't bad, but they don't measure up to the previous standards. If you're in the area and craving a delicious, freshly made sandwich, I recommend checking out Wild Roots Market or Johnnie's Super Market instead.
I went there for their famous belly buster sandwich and ended up ran into their very first Friday Korean Special. We got the beef bulgogi and bibimbap, and I saw some glass noodle in the back so I asked if she making some Japchae. She said she 's not planning on making any today but she will make some for me what a sweet Oni~ I was when I tasted such authentic Korean homemade food after spending 2 weeks in the woods. Solid sandwich and Korean home-cooking. What a gem! P.S. you can get Shin ramen and Cup noodles there too.
