Eureka! - Boulder

I sat at the bar and was impressed by the large drinks and extensive beer selection. They offer cans of beer and whisky, including tasty flights. Their whiskey selection is abundant and changes regularly. My personal favorite was the Smoked Bourbon Cocktail. During Happy Hour, the specials include delicious appetizers at great prices. I especially loved the Mac and Cheese ball, which was perfectly roasted on its own—no sauce needed! The Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts were also fantastic; I almost wanted to lick the plate. And if you don't enjoy the service from the new bartender, Ryan, then I think you might have a psychological issue that drinking won't resolve. He's outstanding!

The atmosphere is casual, which is a beautiful change in the potentially pretentious nature of many of the other restaurants in Downtown Boulder. It's more like a classic casual dinner with a sports bar twist. Waiting wasn't very long on a table and we found a place at the bar to hang out. The beer selection was nice with a good range of local brews. I enjoyed the meal I ordered salmon that came on a bed of greens with some roasted vegetables. My friends ordered burgers and they even asked if it is served on a salad pack with asparagus on the rubber side! They were happy to take them. We had the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer. You were so delish! Don't miss them. I'd go back. The only reason I gave it 4 starts was because the menu was not very extensive. I didn't have many choices... But what they did well, I liked it.

The burger was amazing. Beef is simply delicious and all toppings were fresh and delicious. They have gluten-free rolls, although it is not listed on the menu. The waitress was knowledgeable; they let me know that the frits are crucified and they are double checked for salad dresses. Overall good food, fast and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

The food was also impressive, with great vegetarian options that suited me as I'm trying to gradually reduce my meat consumption. I ordered the Falafel Bites from the Happy Hour menu, and they were incredibly delicious! To top it off, the prices were quite reasonable considering the high quality of food and drink offered. I’ve already told my friends about this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

Eureka! My exact thoughts once I realized this is my new favorite happy hour location in Boulder. They provide a great selection of happy hour goodies to snack on after a long day of work. Not too mention their beer, wine, and cocktail selection will satisfy anyone in your party. I was very pleased with their well rounded tap offerings of stellar beers. A trip to Eureka’s happy hour would not be complete without an order of their Mac n’ Cheese Balls and their delicious brussel sprouts. Along with good food and good drinks, I found their atmosphere to be well thought out and added to a fun and relaxed vibe. If you choose to sit at the bar you’ll have a good view of a few TVs, as well as their unique design behind their taps and hard alcohol bottle presentation. I plan to come back to Eureka anytime I’m looking for a good happy hour activity.
