Auberge Lamartine - Bourdeau

As soon as you drive through the entrance, you are in a different world. Nicely welcomed and directed on the terrace overlooking the lake. just a great view. You are welcomed with a selection of small appetizers, well described by the waitress. We ordered a...la carte although the gourmand menu was tempting but we felt perhaps a little too much with courses. The escalope of foie gras was just great, the portion was generous with some asparagus and flowers. for main we chose two dishes that we don't usually eat anymore. The veal kidney and the ris de veau, these two dishes were just magic, the sauce, the meat, the vegetables what great dishes well prepared and cooked.. the dessert around the lemon was excellent and the fromage blanc with double cream just a killing. we were left with not much space for anything else but the waitress brought us a trolley filled with nice small sweets to accompany the coffee. Brilliant Great dining experience that I recommend.

A safe choice for a superb culinary experience. Its long lived reputation is based on two excellent teams: The one in the kitchen and the other in the restaurant. On top it is based on a fantastic location.

Really nice restaurant with both an excelent view and good food. A little short of ambience on the evening we were there, however this would not prevent us eating there again.

If I had one criticism it would be that they have no rooms, the thought of a summers evening enjoying the fantastic menu and wonderful wines and then just being able to glide to your room and drift into slumber... But they don't so some...restraint is needed, nevertheless a great great lunch enjoyed by everyone attentive staff who move between tables with grace and little surprises with delicate extras. For the wheelchair user a few bits are out of bounds but most, the majority, is accessible so for me it all worked.

Beautiful surroundings located on hilltop. Lunch menu food quality was exceptional with reasonable prices. good service. highly recommended.
