Osteria Ndo' Save'rie Lu Conte - Bovino

Everything was excellent! The service and the owner were amazing. MR. Lu Conte has an eye for detail and a passion for his work. The food was delicious and well presented. He brings out course after course, after course. The bruschetta and all sorts of spreads on the breads. The cheese taste fresh and creamy. He included some homemade fruit jam on the cheese plate that made for a great sweet and salty combo. The cold cuts plate was fantastic as well. The assorted prosciuttos and sausages came with bright fruit pairings. Main course was a slow cocked ragu with sausage and a local handmade pasta. The owner was very attentive and enthusiastic about Bovino as a whole. He shared a bit of the towns history with us as the two couples dining in and I were not from the area.

Save'rie is amazing! He makes the olive oil and wine himself! He may even grow them but my Italian isn't very good so I may not have understood completely. A true traditional farm to table experience. The food was exceptional and the price is great for the quality you get. I happened to be there at an off time so he was able to give me extra special attention. You must stop in while in Bovino! Save'rie è incredibile! Fa lui stesso l'olio d'oliva e il vino! Potrebbe anche coltivarli ma il mio italiano non è molto buono quindi potrei non aver capito completamente. Una vera esperienza tradizionale dalla fattoria alla tavola. Il cibo era eccezionale e il prezzo è ottimo per la qualità che ottieni. Mi è capitato di essere lì in un momento libero, quindi è stato in grado di darmi un'attenzione speciale in più. Devi fermarti mentre sei a Bovino!

To call this a restaurant would do it an injustice. This is an experience of the senses. If you’re reading this I would suggest you stop, and just go to it and try it. It’s hard to explain how lovely the meal was. Explaination of each course was great and his wine!!!!
