San Juan Smokehouse - Bowling Green

Finally got around to trying this place and it was really good! The pulled pork had a really good flavor and their sauce had somewhat of a sweet and tangy flavor to it. My girlfriend got the pulled pork nachos and those were excellent as well. The nachos themselves were even delicious. We went in between lunch and dinner time so we were the only ones in the restaurant, but the service was very nice and friendly. It appeared to be operated by a small family. The restaurant operates in a portion of what used to be Brickyard Cafe.

The pulled pork was delicious, and the Carolina-style slaw added the perfect touch of tanginess. The coconut rice was excellent as well. Our server was very accommodating and clearly knowledgeable about the menu, able to answer all our questions.

Absolutely loved this place. Staff are friendly and prompt. The owner is a real stand up guy with a passion for BBQ snd flavor. This really shows in the food. Smoke flavor of the meat is on point. Will be returning often

This place is fantastic! The prices are affordable, and everything is made fresh, unlike some local chain restaurants. I highly recommend it!
