Baan Thai - Box Elder

This place was just ok. We got the beef and broccoli and the spicy basil with chicken to go. The beef and broccoli was cooked nicely, but the dish had no flavor whatsoever. Very underwhelming. The spicy basil was also cooked nicely, with just a mildflavor, but was not spicy at all. It was still satisfying, we just were not used to the lack of flavor from a Thairestaurant. Service was friendly. Location was sort of random. Price was good.

Wow, I?m blown away by the authentic and delicious food and menu! The yellow curry with veggies was every bit as good the food I had in Thailand. A few minutes from I-90 made this a perfect lunch spot when passing through the area. Rapid City is extremelylucky to have this amazing friendly family-owned restaurant.

The spring rolls peanut sauce are amazing! The yellow curry is more amazing. The only bad thing is when they are ready to close.... Don't stay!

I love this place! Food is consistently good, and the portions sizes are generous. The staff is super polite and it is always very clean. Plus, I'm a vegetarian and they're always nice about letting me substitute tofu for meat whenever possible.

Outstanding Thai food. OMG this place is a treasure! The Pad kẻ mao was outstanding! The Thom ka gái was excellent. Service was attentive without being intrusive. This is the ONLY place worthwhile to eat Thai food in the Rapid City area.
