BIG RECOMMENDATION: If you ever have the opportunity to visit The City of Boyne City please stop by the Sunnyside Breakfast and Lunch spot, and ask for 'Autumn ' The food was delicious, freah, and tasty! Get the country fried chicken special if available, you will not regret it.

The staff here work so hard and are so lovely! The food always comes out perfect. It’s a little echo-y and noisy when full, but it’s just a sign of good business! We love coming here whenever we are in Michigan. There’s food for the whole family!

Food was serviceable. The French toast bake was good. Here’s the problem, we walked in at a busy time, waited awhile, had someone take our number and told us to leave and that he’d text us. We received a call and texted back that we were on our way. Then when we did get there we waited an additional 10-15 minutes and several people got called and sat in front of us. We even tried to wave a server to just ask what’s happening and he said he’d be back and was back another 5 minutes later saying that they didn’t in fact have our table and that we shouldn’t have texted. To be clear. We were told to text back and we weren’t told about calling. They tried to shove us at the bar and we asked for a a table outside, in the end they made the seating work but it took us double the time as just going somewhere else. Please fix your reservation or waitlist system. Yall clearly need it and aren’t using it. Along with this I have a gluten allergy. We picked here due to the menu we saw online and when we got there it was completely different. Basic things like omelettes which are inherently gf were not marked as such due to toast. I wasn’t allowed to substitute for something gf either. Please just add some gluten free bread to the back to make it more accessible for us.
