Whi Ski Inn - Boyne Falls

Everything about this place was great! The food was very good (we had smoked wings and smoked chicken nachos) and the atmosphere and service were great too. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and time it takes to prepare smokedmeats. Definitely going back for brisket!

Bar style BBQ joint. Ribs pulled pork pulled chicken were good not great. Sides were pretty tasty. We had mac 'n cheese, cucumbers onions, fries, hushpuppies sweet potato fries. All good. We also had sweet corn fritters from the appetizermenu. Those were tasty, too. We were there Friday night a live musician was just getting started, but we didn 't stay forthat .

They make their own blood mary mix and it is delicious! cindy, our server was clear with everything. the food was delicious! super friendly and cozy atmosphere. so happy that we could stop there again. they smoke their own flesh and the chicken wings were delicious, along with the brisk, pulled boar and the ribs! the selection of sauces was amazing.

I have heard great things about the Whi-Ski. Was bummed put to sya the least. Let me lead by saying, if you are looking for a place to drink only, great spot! But if you are looking to get some grub too... not so much IMO. Prices were fair, service was poor (never asked If we would like refills on beer, or waters and it wasn't busy at all) and the food was less than desirable. I had wings and a burger. The burger was super dried out, and tasted kike a frozen Patty. The wings were very fatty and the flavor wasn't there. Cheese curds were good, but it would take a small child to mess those up. Sliders weren't great either for being a BBQ/smokehouse.

This food was amazing! Definitely worth the trek if you’re staying at Boyne Mountain. The prices are very fair and they have daily specials to add even more value. The food was delicious and I’m pretty sure those were the best nachos I’ve ever had! I’ll be stopping by again next time in the area 100
