Extremely disappointing Friday dinner. we share the bolognese pasta bowl for a starter that has been tastelessly overcooked, except the capern in the sauce. who puts kapern in a Bolognese sauce? two of us had very hard end pieces of tenderloin for $49, reboiled and really bad quality cuts of meat. Finally, the Korean chicken dish was boiled tode so that it was dry and difficult to cut or chew. the whole meal combines poor quality ingredients with even worse cooking.
Delicious food and hospitable service. The Korean Fried Chicken was a little dry and very bread-heavy, but the sauce saved it and was great with the mashed potatoes. Salmon was cooked to order and had an Asian twist to it, being also served with egg rolls.
Lovedddd this spot!! Nice location, tucked away in downtown Bozeman. The best part about the location is the parking lots nearby! : Our server was wonderful and offered great suggestions. We ordered the bison bolognese, avocado grilled ciabatta toast, and potatoes everything was outstanding! Our only regret was ordering the lunch portion because it was so good, we wished we had more! Urban Kitchen is a little pricier compared to most of the other restaurants in this area, but it's simply because the quality is incomparable to anything else! 100% worth it for the quality, taste, and presentation! Highly recommend!
We ate on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and were lucky to get a reservation. The decor is nice and the tables are well spaced out. It was definitely a cute rustic theme. There was a brunch menu and all the options sounded good so it was hard to make a choice but three out of our four dishes were ordered off the brunch menu and were delicious. The breakfast ramen was tasty, the noodles were made in house. French toast was very sweet but also good. You can opt to get eggs along with it so it doesn't feel like you are eating all sugar for Breakfast. I ordered the cowboy rice and this was simple but delicious and was served with eggs. This was definitely a hit and my kids loved it. Last, we just had to try the pork chop and it didn't disappoint. Perfectly cooked and it was huge, plump and tender and flavorful! We did get the sauces on the side to dip in. The mashed potatoes underneath were so fresh and buttery and the corn was creamy and tasty as well! I Also had the huckleberry mimosa and it was refreshing and loved the huckleberries floating around. All around all the food was high quality and delicious. The server we had to was also really nice and great to talk to. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience and would come back next time we are in Bozeman!
