Osteria La Pimpinella - BRA

Abbiamo cenato in 7 qualche settimana fa. Tipico piemontese, con qualche variante. Locale carino. Abbiamo mangiato in una zona vicino al bagno dove però faceva un po’ freddo. Raviole al baccalà fredde(non so se fosse voluto, ma nel caso sarebbe bene avvisare prima o scriverlo sul menù . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

Location molto carina, cibo buono anche se porzioni un po' ridotte. Un piatto scelto con il tartufo è arrivato di default con la capasanta senza chiedere al cliente quale alternativa volesse(prima però di fare il piatto e non dopo!!! e dando per scontato che le piacesse il pesce. Una figuraccia.

A huge surprise in a town as small as Bra. Full marks for the presentation of food. Family run restaurant, with a couple running the kitchen, assisted by assorted members of the family. The whole experience of presentation, preparation, uniqueness, deconstruction and taste is similar to a tasting menu of a Michelin star restaurant. Simple whitish interiors, lets you focus on the food. Adequate variety of selections in the menu. Enough to satisfy most. White meats were wonderfully prepared seasoned. Sea food could be seasoned better. Pasta has 'grandma made ' pasted all over it. Extremely hearty and satisfying. Possibly the best Panna Cotta I 've had in decades. A must visit if you happen to be in Bra.

Amazing food and very warm and welcoming staff. We had a great evening here and enjoyed every plate! We chose the vegetarian surprise menu, and after visiting several other restaurants in Piemonte with similar offerings, I clearly have to rate this one as one of the best.
