Very friendly and prompt service. Coffees and meals came out quickly a very important factor when you have a toddler in tow so this was appreciated. Meals were nice but the menu is on the expensive side. Would visit again for a coffee.

Food and drinks were amazing! I ordered a black coffee which came in a plunger and surprisingly, tasted really good and I didn’t even need to add sugar. Staff were friendly and were happy to change a menu option to vegetarian for me. Sweet potato fries were also delicious. Great for a place to bring you friends to snack and chill.

I lived in Melbourne for a couple of years and one of the true blessings was to have a local pub or little restaurant dotted somewhere in suburbia, that did there own thing and had real atmosphere. <br/ <br/ This ladies and gents is the closest example I have found so far. And it 's good, real good. <br/ <br/ All foods are what you would call 'pub food ', but each plate has its own amazing individuality from what you would get at a chain type pub. Szechuan calamari, chicken bites, pork tacos, 4 types of wings. All amazeballs. <br/ <br/ Couple of great home brews on tap, but I got the inside scoop that the bartender makes amazing cocktails (from a very regular local). <br/ I think I was chatting to the owner at one point, who was very considerate and made every accomodation he could for our party. <br/ Had a yarn to the chef who was super happy he wasn 't just flipping the same old burgers he used to at his previous job. <br/ <br/ It 's an odd layout, with a table here, bench there, stairs in the middle, another chair over there. But it 's all part of the atmosphere. And it actually adds to the fun. <br/ <br/ Thank you Suburban Social. We plan to be back a number of times. With everyone we know in the neighbourhood.

Love everything about this place! Walking distance, great vibe, stella beer selection and moreish foods. They've just installed TV's in time for State of Origin on their spankin new deck. Nice to have somewhere to have a chill drink in the burbs.
