The chutneys were bright and complimented the dish perfectly. If you dine in you also get a delicious sambar alongside. My friend said the biryani and chicken curry were delicious as well. The staff are warm and make you feel like family. We had so much fun when we were there. 10/10 recommend you make the trip there.
Had goat briyani goat kothu. The goat briyani was tasty, with quite a bit of goat, but it was actually fried rice. The goat kothu (fried chopped roti) was tasty with a good amount of goat. It was moister than other kothus I've had. The briyani was better.
After looking at many reviews we chose this location to have a nice lunch. When we walked in the restaurant it was quite nice but then when the food arrived it went down hill we ordered three dosas and one biryani all the dosas were way too salty. You could not even call the biryani , biryani it was tomato rice with boiled chicken. Not only is the restaurant overrated the prices are way to high. The dosas had minimal filling and way to much salt. When we went to wash our hands the bathroom was clean but there was no supply of water at all. Over all not the best experience could have been better.
Amazing place with great quality food. Been here 5 times and every time the service and food is above and beyond. The owner is super friendly and knows his spicy ingredients. I enjoy getting the Dosa with potatoes and the yammi chi!! I always recommend my co workers to come . I live far but I will drove 45 mins to eat this food . Thank you for being in the north end .. I highly recommend it and the price is very reasonable. The food is just mind blowing and you can taste the spices when u eat the Dosa ... 100 thumps up
This is my first visit to Golden Taste of Asia. I was greeted by a very friendly host, and took a look at the menu. Lots of good choices and very nice prices. I ordered the okra and the curried goat. The curried goat had a very nice level of spice, but way too much salt. I have been advised medically to increase the salt in my diet, but the amount of salt was past overpowering. The okra is unlike anything I have ever had. Nice long strips cooked perfectly with the seeds still a little bit firm. A little sweetness in the background, but not overpowering. I typically prefer a dish of okra that has more okra and the onions fried, but this was a good change. The place is very clean, and it seems to have some real potential opening up an Indian restaurant. I had a friends when I grew up who were from Sri Lanka as well, so I one to see these types of places open up. They were able to serve me gluten free food as well which really helped as I must medically follow this diet.
