Great home cooked authentic Portuguese food. Paolo is great even with a language barrier he always serves us great with good humor and generous portions. Probably the best sardines I've had and the chicken is amazing always great value for the money

After having a few negative experiences and almost two years later, I decided to give this restaurant another try. Unfortunately, the service was still lacking, with staff members not being fluent in the language and unfamiliar with the menu. For a great Portuguese meal in Bradford with exceptional service and knowledgeable staff, I recommend going to Lusitano instead. Save yourself the time and money by avoiding this place!

Great food Portuguese Authentic food and pricing is cheap compared to the same style food served elsewhere or in Toronto. They have a dining room upstairs. Basement is a Bar that's pretty busy as well. I recommend Seafood Rice or the Steak. For the kids I usually order a 1/2 check for the table with a side of rice and potatoes and we split it. Rapini and soups are awesome as well. Also good place for picking up catering.

Was incredibly disappointed in my visit. Service: Slow not attentive, although seemed that the waiter was attentive to specific customers After seated, waited for 10 minutes before anyone attended to us Barely spoke not sure if waiter couldn't speak English, didn't understand when asked simple questions (e.g., types of beer available, when asked for Bradfordlicious menu) After 2 hours, we hadn't even received our dessert so decided to leave what we thought the bill would be, and left I though after we asked for the Bradfordlicious menu that customer service would improve, but it in fact got worse Ambiance: Initially when entering, place looks very nice and cozy Bathrooms were disgusting as I walked down the stairs, the smell intensified it smelt like a diaper pail (I assure you, I am not being mean, it smells like my son's diaper bin) Appetizer: Soup for myself and my partner barely warm Partner had meat in her soup, I did not Was called carrot soup, but not sure if there were actually carrots in it Entree: I did not receive what I had ordered (despite having pointed directly at the desired item) Portion of meat on the sandwich was minimal Taste was bland bun overpowered any taste for the sandwich Dessert: As mentioned above, we did not wait for it, although did not have high hopes I will NEVER return to this restaurant and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone there are so many wonderful in options in Bradford and this place is not worth anyone's time especially 2 hours of it!!

Have eaten here at the restaurant, but also take-out on multiple occasions. They have all your Portuguese favorites and very reasonable prices. Recommend calling ahead if you wanna pick up the chicken and potato combo, our personal favorite.
