Fanny's Real Ale House - Bradford

This pub has a great feeling about it. An excellent night out with a great atmosphere. Also an excellent range of beers, lagers and ciders plus excellent bar staff. This pub has great deco and the bar staff are also very knowledgeable about the different products they sell. I would strongly recommend this drinking establishment to both serious ale drinkers, but also to those who are just wanting a leisurely drink or are looking for the ultimate drinking experience, Definitely well worth visiting if you are in the local vicinity. Saltaire village is literally just down the road and within walking distance from here which is also worth visiting, and is also a unesco world heritage site situated on the banks of the River Aire.

My first time in Bradford for some years, having lived here for five years as a student in the early mid 80s. Most of my friends now live out of the city, many in Saltaire/Shipley. So when I took a trip down memory lane (mainly to say farewell to a dear but dying friend) we needed a good pub to drown our sorrows and toast our memories of our beloved friend. I'd never heard of Fanny's, but I now think it's one of the best pubs I've been in for ages. A terrific atmosphere, loads of great nooks and crannies to hang out in, a piano which added to the cheery atmosphere, friendly bar staff and an array of great beers. I'll certainly be back. Congratulations to whoever found the site and transformed it into a local drinking hole (Saltaire used to have no pubs back in the day). Highly recommended.

It's been several years since we visited this bar and the changes that have been made are excellent given a brighter feel but still a great ambience. There's a great selection of ales and prices are very reasonable. Service is faultless. We won't be leaving it so long until our next visit.

Great pub, great atmosphere, amazing people! The beer is great, always a very good selection, very good seating arrangement too!
