Curry Night - Braintree

My husband and I decided to have a curry from this place on New Year's Day. It wasn't delicious, but it also wasn't good. We were quite disappointed. My chicken tikka masala was tough, the sauce was thin, and unfortunately, both of us have had upset stomachs all night and into the morning. We will not be ordering food from here again.

My family often orders Indian food from this takeout restaurant and we always find it delicious. We have tried a variety of dishes and have enjoyed them all.

I ordered takeout last night which arrived on time, but unfortunately the chicken tikka masala was terrible. There was an overpowering flavor that made it inedible after a few bites. The onion bhajis, vegetable samosas, and naan bread were all soggy. The Bombay potatoes were bland but edible. The Karahi chicken was the only decent dish, although not exceptional. Overall, the meal was disappointing and a waste of money. It left us hungry and annoyed. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to in this case to warn others. Despite positive reviews, the food was not up to par. I would advise skipping this Indian restaurant in Witham if you're looking for a good curry experience.

Have had a couple of takeaways delivered from here via hungry house. Very pleased with the food, a step up from our local takeaway. Great tasting food, and a good range on their menu. Can recommend, which is something I rarely do.

Nightmare to park so order a takeaway, I use a takeaway app. Very good menus selection, my favourite is the veggie thali, My wife loves the chicken korma and they still send out a small bag of salad
