Eastern Aroma - Braintree

With a heavy heart I have to give this negative review. I had previously eaten here and had a positive experience. Unfortunately the special fried rice I ordered had 4 prawns 6 peas and a couple of tiny bits of chicken and pork, mostly plain rice, disappointing. The chow mein was supposed to be chicken but given special chow mein with 1 prawn peas and barely any chicken at all. It was mother's day so I can forgive the 1 hour wait time, but a bit excessive for take away. If you wait for a long time then your meal should be perfect. Don't think we will return

The best cucumber I've had in a long time. Fresh and crispy served by a friendly waitress.

Based in an old pub so has on site car parking which is a big . It is a controlled car park so you have to enter your reg as you enter the premises. Great service and very good selection of food on offer, even some Malaysian and Thai dishes to try. Not the most inexpensive place to eat but the quality of what was served up was excellent and as an every now and then treat so worth it. Big question. . . Would I go back again? Undoubtedly, it's a yes from me.

Usually great but Wednesday night, service was poor, food portions were poor, drinks prices different. £1.50 on menu for a small bottle of water but got charged £2.50. Not sure I'd go back

Can not praise this restaurant enough ...booked a 60th birthday here for 13 people the staff went above and beyond...from the time I booked the staff were so polite and helpful ...food was wonderful and they didn't mess up 1 order they even played happy birthday and put up banners . Will definitely go here again what a great afternoon. Thankyou so much xx
