The Fountain House - Braintree

Ordered in advance for us to pick up, food was ready, hot and delicious. No gloopy sauces. Will definitely order again. Our experience was so much better than the star rating they have.

Food is great normally but they just send the food when they feel like it over an hour early and kids are still up 40quid worth of cold Chinese not happy at all

Coke from a multi pack fine but flat and £1.20 a can come on I hate that these places get away with it especially as I work so hard for my money. Ribs btw should be ribs and not just ends with little to no meat

Sorry this happened 2 years ago but I ordered and paid for online as due to covid we decided to branch out from our usual and support a high street chinese. Order was accepted, money came put of the account and no food 2hrs later. After about a dozen phone calls which resulted in being put on hold and hung up on we finally spoke to someone. They said sorry our online isn't working we can't send your delivery. You will be refunded. 2yrs later no refund, no trust and judging by the 1 star reviews this place is a shambles. Avoid like the plague

I recently ordered the salt and pepper ribs as part of a family meal, but was disappointed to receive a plate full of rib ends or knuckles with very little meat on them. As someone who loves ribs, this was a major letdown and I would not recommend ordering ribs from this restaurant.
