We had their signature pork ramen, chicken donburi and overfried spring rolls and gyozu. The ramen was a little too hard. We didn't try the sushi (self serve, in the fridge). It's an interesting no frills place though, good value, thoughtful but not fancy. It's good to know that a touristy place has honest food like this. It's quite close to the Greyhound bus stop, and has a supermarket adjoining where you can get something when you arrive.
We eat asian food everywhere we travel. The food here wasnt so bad, not the best i have ever had by a long shot, but pretty good for a ski hill town. The price wasnt bad and the service was good.
A must try if you're craving ramen! Delicious chewy noodles in a yummy broth was just what I needed for a cold snowy day! Authentic yummy Japanese snacks at the market. It's tiny inside, some bar seating 2 small booths that can seat 4 and a tiny side by side booth for 2! My son has the Chicken teriyaki donburi, it was ok, they're definitely know for the ramen.
Cute japanese market for authentic goods- somewhat limited in selection but good for quick fix. The eating establishment attached serves authentic char-siu ramen. We compared it to the ramen we had in Tokyo and this is quite close. Great for ramen fix and quick meal- the interior is fun - they made the inside to lool like the outside of a corner market and building
I ordered four trays of sushi for our staff lunch and everyone really enjoyed the sushi. I would highly recommend Fuji Market to anyone.
