9 East Hibachi Asian Kitchen - Branford

Aside from a fiasco getting the table that we wanted, with people at the hostess stand and seemingly a manager trying to force to sit at a table we didn't want, the overall dining experience was good. Server did a nice job, hibachi chef was highly entertaining, and the place had a good vibe and design. Food was very good too. The people obsessing over where people sit need to chill out, and worry less about trying to jam us in a table that was already occupied.

My daughter and I visited for the first time and we absolutely loved it!

This place is great. Love the decor they have a koy pond, and a giant Buddha statue. The hibachi chef was hilarious, and the food was excellent.

I have been dining at or getting takeout from 9 East since it opened. The food is delicious and there is a wide variety of menu items, all prepared with care. We often get takeout and are never disappointed. Some of our favorites include the Crab Rangoon, Miso Soup, Black Pepper Steak, Seafood and Chicken Stir Fry, as well as the excellent sushi. The service is excellent and if you choose to dine in, the decor is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The General Tsos tofu is very delicious . Nice and crispy and full of flavor.
