Capone's Pizza - Branford

I love this place! the personal is great. they feel like family! great eating, great drinks, great staff

Great! I had been wanting to try something new, but had been let down by some nearby restaurants. Kapone's eggplant fries are perfectly crispy like mozzarella, with a delicious eggplant filling inside! The restaurant is very clean and bright, so we will definitely dine here again. The staff was very friendly too! I wish we had discovered this place sooner. The sauce was perfectly brown, made with naturally sweet tomatoes instead of sugar. I'm really happy that we decided to eat here tonight! Stop!

Great pizza well served next week to try again to see one of the dinners

I stopped at this restaurant for a plate of pasta and ordered a simple dish of spaghetti aioli. Unfortunately, Capone didn't prepare it correctly. The version I received was quite bland, as if they had just thrown the pasta in the dish and poured oil and garlic over the top. It was clear that the pasta had not finished cooking in the sauce, and pasta water had been added to try to salvage it. The caprese salad was also disappointing. The mozzarella was not fresh and soft, but rather hard like the hot house tomatoes. On a positive note, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the garlic bread was decent.
