Mel's Hard Luck Diner - Branson

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! It’s not just your average diner; the performance was outstanding, and everything we enjoyed last night was fantastic! It was an explosion of flavors! I will definitely visit again when we return to Branson! I highly recommend it—don’t waste your time anywhere else because this place is perfect! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the desserts looked amazing! There are so many options for dining at this restaurant!

The dining experience was classic diner style. I ordered the fried chicken, while my companion had the patty melt. The service was quite quick. As we sat there, I noticed that the walls were filled with various things to see and read. Every few minutes, another server would grab the microphone and sing a song, covering a wide range of genres. They would even come around to sing to the tables. If you're in the mood for dessert or something spontaneous, I highly recommend the kringle cookie—it’s both delicious and massive!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Branson. It had a fun, cheesy atmosphere that truly lived up to its reputation. I found myself wanting to join the waitstaff in their singing! It was impressive to see them multitask—pouring drinks and serving food—all while holding microphones and performing. The food was satisfying; nothing extraordinary, just classic diner fare. My husband particularly enjoyed the enormous ice sunflower—unfortunately, I couldn't try it due to my lactose intolerance. He had a huge, greasy cheeseburger, while I opted for a chicken salad. The prices were reasonable, and we both had a great time, so it was definitely worth the visit!

This was a great place to eat with a great atmosphere. The singers were fantastic and the food was so good! The portions are huge (especially the ice! if you? Remember to share ice?.do it because you can probably end it?t!

Short wait for a party of 20. We did have to separate at 3 different tables but that's fine considering how big of a group we were. The service was top notch. Very prompt and our waiter JJ got everything correct while singing! The food was good. I had the Ruben and fries. My husband had the Hawaiian burger and liked it. Although all burgers are well done, you can't order it any other way. My 3 year old devoured the kids spaghetti and meatball. We finished off the dinner with a single scoop strawberry sundae. It was plenty for 3! Highly recommended. We loved it.
