Cote Riviere - Brantôme en Périgord

Situated by the river, with a small terrace, staff very welcoming, food has an international flavour alongside French influences. Choice of 4or 5 starters as is the main courses, chef produces a great Thai Green fish curry with plenty of fish in the sauce, not too hot.Always worth a visit if you are in Brantome.

Wow! What a way to end Bastille Day. Wonderful location right on the side of the river in Brantome. Great food - quite international, made a change from duck.

This is justifiably one of the top spots in Brantome - the location is wonderful (though there is limited space on the balcony), the building is lovely, the staff are friendly and efficient, and of course the food was very good. A varied menu of both local specialities and broader influences (eg when we went we enjoyed Thai green curry).

What a lovely evening! We spent a night in Brantome before moving on to the River Lot and booked this in advance as it was Bastille day. It's a couple of weeks ago now so I can't remember what everybody had, but I can clearly recall the setting (we had a table by the 'window' so could watch the boat jousting!), the friendly service and the fact that everybody (5 of us) really enjoyed the food - including my son who normally prefers pizza to French regional dishes. Thanks to chef and staff!
