Modrá Hviezda - Bratislava

Beautiful ambiente, we sat in the “Kave” and although there were 2 more larger tables in the cave with us, it was not too loud. the vines were very good, the deenpate was rich. the wild boar and the scotfish were both perfectly prepared. the heap with the mint that went with the fish was delicious. overall a nice night, although the price was a bit high. Also note that each check will add a service fee. our waiter was very nice and very helpful with suggestions.

In our trip to Dubrovnik. We decided to have a evening in Modra Hviezda Bratislava. And we are super glad about that choice. Amazing place with delicious food. It was a perfect start to our holidays. Thank you Modra Hviezda for escalating even more the excitement of our holidays

Nice restaurant one road down from the castle. It's a really nice spot if you are feeling hungry after a visit. Here you will find typical Slovakia food, we had the veal goulash and the magalitza pork for main courses, for dessert we had the dumplings with poppy seeds. All tasted very good. The restaurant itself looks really quaint and cozy.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful experience! We made a last minute online reservation which didn't have time to process, but the staff were very hospitable, welcoming and seating us despite not having received the reservation yet. The cuisine is absolutely delicious. We had the goulash and duck, both prepared in sizeable portions with lovely presentation and paired with a fabulous local red wine. The food is hearty and tasty and the service amazingly attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere is amazingly cozy and intimate... Part of the dining area appears to be cut into the side of the mountain with stone walls in much of the dining area. The lighting is perfect not too bright or dark. We finished our meal with dessert of both the almond chocolate cake (gluten free) and the traditional dumplings with poppy seeds and coffee not too sweet or too rich and yet full of flavor. A brilliant end to such a lovely dinner. We couldn't recommend this establishment more highly if you're looking for good quality local cuisine with very friendly and professional service. It is definitely worth the steps up and we look forward to dining here again on our next trip!

Beautiful wine, food, and atmosphere. The staff made us feel welcomed and gave us excellent recommendations from the menu. Would recommend!
