Írjon visszajelzéstTerrific family lunch spot in fair weather. The dosas were delicious and it was relaxing to eat at the nearby picnic tables. The location is alongside a family friendly demonstration farm with a grassy courtyard, perfect for kids to run around, and a cheese shop.
Highly recommend The most authentic I have eaten in the United States. The smell and flavor of dosas, masala (potato palya), and chutney takes me back to Mysore, where I grew up. A family run business, Nash and his wife are extremely friendly and sweet. We ordered gunpowder dosa and mysore masala dosa. Both of them are must eat. As you bite into the Mysore masala dosa, you can taste the ginger chilly chutney which is neither too spicy nor too mild. As you go along, this chutney mixes with the potato filling (a.k.a palya), which is laden with onion , lentils and other spices which makes it a flavourful bite. The sambar is a perfect accompaniment for the dosa. It comes with dal and freshly, nicely cut carrots. Gunpowder dosa has a powder smeared inside of the dosas, which is made for lentils and other South Indian spices. Please don?t forget to add extra ghee for the both the dosas. PS: don?t have pictures of dosas as I didn?t have patience to click pictures and started eating as soon as it came to our table.
Our meal was delayed by around 30-40 minutes due to a large group ahead of us, and with only one person working the griddle, we completely understood. However, the owner noticed that my child was hungry and kindly interrupted the preparation of the other orders to make sure my child's meal was ready first. At the end of our visit, she personally checked in with us about the delay, but we had no complaints. We were thrilled with the food, and my child especially enjoyed the dosa and mango lassi. I will definitely return to this place on my next holiday to Vermont!
The small blue truck had clean and hygienic tables both in the shade and out in the sun. We tried the Punjabi Kanji, Mysore Masala, Chicken Curry Dosa, and the Laddoos, and everything was absolutely spot on! The dishes had a distinctive Koch style quality, while still maintaining that homemade flavor in the sambhar, chicken curry, and Kanji. We decided to pick up a few items to take home and plan to visit Nash and Leda again soon. I think you might want to consider moving to a larger location next year. Nash explained that her distribution for dosa batter, kanji, chutneys, and more will be expanding, and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for that. Best of luck, Nash and Leda—you two are fantastic!
Wow good dosas in Brattleboro? I can't find Dosas in NYC. Just wish they had some more Sambar with the Dosa and maybe some Chai. Lassi was good.
