Broken Compass Brewing - BRECKENRIDGE

I haven't been here in many years, but this is one of those places I will specifically drive from Denver to, because of the most amazing Coconut Porter that I have tried as of yet! If memory serves me correctly, last visit, one of the workers explained they select the coconut shavings and roast them in-house, just for this beer. The summer atmosphere; I went on a Thursday at noon. Not super busy, but amazing music, perfect beer and a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere! Plenty of gifts to buy, from tee shirts, insulated cups, mugs and stickers. My travel was just for a motorcycle day-ride, and I brought home a growler of the Coconut Porter I love. I will definitely be planning a trip back to stock up. One of the local guys ordered a pizza and had it delivered and it smelled amazing! Next time, I'll do a review on the pizza when I order one! Me and my wife had our wedding reception here and found it to be the best choice we could've ever made. Employees were great while we had questions of renting the tap room while we were all the way in Dallas TX. During our reception we were greeted and taken care of as if we were family and the room was kept to the most enjoyable night of our life!! The beer recommendations and perfect music of choice was just the cherries on top. Thank you so much!

The coconut porter is some of the best I have ever had. Definitely try it, even if your not a dark beer fan. The flight also had Czech Pilsner, Passionfruit Sour, Irish Red, Mango Passionfruit Sour, and Chili Pepper Pale Ale. Highlights were Coconut Porter and the Chili Pepper Ale. Very friendly staff! Added bonus dogs are welcome!

Basically a tasting room. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fun vibe. Lots of dogs! Bench seating at front table was very uncomfortable especially for the vertically challenged. Maybe some cushions would cozy it up. Coconut stout was the group favorite. Try it over ice cream! Trust me. It's awesome. No v-neck tee shirts. That's a bummer especially since their dog theme is really clever. Go see for yourself.

Good beer and variety plus dog friendly inside! It's in a strip of places so it doesn't stick out but we really enjoyed our flight!
