Írjon visszajelzéstWe went for lunch at The Partea Hut near the Dereham windmill with a friend. Nice environment, lovely interior and service and a number of nice sandwiches/toasties/pasties/sausage rolls followed by cakes. Altogether very pleasant. The coffee needs improving, though.
After hearing rave reviews about this restaurant, I was eager to try their cake. I opted for the lemon drizzle slice and a cup of tea. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the cake was dry and not up to par with what is expected of a lemon drizzle cake. Despite the friendly staff and charming Tearoom atmosphere, I left most of the cake untouched. It's a shame, as I really wanted to enjoy my experience here. I cannot recommend visiting this Tearoom, as the most crucial aspect of a tea room is delicious cake, which was lacking in this instance.
Made a fantastic celebration carrot cake for my sister's 50th birthday. It looked great AND tasted delicious! It was a super asset to her special day. I am only sorry that I don't have a suitable photograph to share, but the motorbike cake topper was very well received. Thank you.
I am so gutted i have been here 3 times and each time it is closed. called here on saturday and it was closed checked today said it was open so we called again and guess what yet again closed and is now not open until saturday ‘really’ this remains to be seen
The Partea Hut has moved to Dereham Windmill and no longer at the Corner’s Nursery. It is run by two lovely ladies who make great cakes. My late husband loved coming to this place for Afternoon Tea as they make lovely cakes. I brought some friends here for Afternoon Tea as well and they always comment on how beautiful they present food on the table.
