Írjon visszajelzéstI've had better kolaches than the ones I tried here, but they weren't too bad. The bread was a bit dry for my liking. However, the restaurant was clean, and the service was quick and friendly. Next time, I'd like to sample a sweet option.
This is the ideal spot for grabbing Kolaches on the go! I really wish it were closer to Houston. The cheese danish pastries have the delightful flavor of a New York cheesecake. The signature cinnamon rolls were fantastic as well. They even offered local honey with various types of pollen. If you’re in the mood for pastries, you’re in for a treat! And the buttermilk pie? Forget about it—it’s amazing!
I visited on a Sunday afternoon, so the selection was understandably limited, but I was thrilled to snag a 6-pack of my favorite Danishes. There were plenty of other options available, but my cravings were quite specific this time around. The bakery showcased several enormous, fluffy, sticky, and gooey cinnamon rolls that looked absolutely delicious, alongside some creatively flavored seasonal Danishes that caught my eye. In the end, I opted for the classic flavors: cheese, cherry, and lemon. They were perfectly sweet, moist, and incredibly tasty, ensuring that I'll be back on my next visit. The 6-pack of Danishes cost around $9, which I felt was a great deal for such fresh and delicious treats—definitely worth the stop! The store wasn’t too busy when I visited, and I only had to wait a few minutes. The storefront was clean and well-organized, and the staff I encountered were friendly and pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend checking it out to see what you can find. If you go, I suggest trying to visit earlier in the day; I bet their morning options are amazing!
Stop to get gas. It is spacious and plenty of space for an RV. We went in and got Pecan coffee and a variety of candy. The carrot cake was great, but the cookies were pretty dry. The place was clean and the bathrooms were also. It is also next to the Taco bell and over the street of mcdonalds and Pizzahütte. It's super easy to get from the Interstate. Just in and out:
I came to the connected gas station to use the restroom and I was caught by the great smell coming from the Bakery. I went with a TX staple, sausage cheese kolache, and I wasn't disappointed. A little too much bread on the kolache for me but it was soft and tasty. The lady working the counter was very nice and friendly. I will come back when I am in the area.
