Clean, warm, neat, well sorted, good selection of beers, excellent selection of spirituoses, bar staff always available, hospitable locals. what a traditional pub should be. possibly one of the last traditional pubs in the city. visit it rewarding.

A proper pub with proper beers, wine and a massive selection of spirits. A very traditional gem, you don't find like this anymore

Visited friends who took us here and sat outside. Very nice area and people very friendly. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Would visit again.

Comfortable, traditional pub. Friendly with good lagers.

I think it's probably a nice local with a good range of Real Ales in good condition. Plenty of space.
