Bluestone Vineyard - Bridgewater

I think there were a lot of pros and cons about this location, but my impression of it was pretty mediocre. The biggest pro was the views extremely serene and relaxing, definitely a place that you would want to sip on a glass of wine and just enjoy with company. It was nice that you could bring your own food to the place, there was outdoor seating that was well set up that was comfy. We were told to go for the foodthat was good. I will tell you the menu was laid out well the choices were great and the food was off the hook. I had a Bison burger my wife had the Nashville Chicken and we each had the wine recommended for each meal. We then went over to the tasting room and enjoyed a flight of wine each. We got married her 5 years ago (amazing) so a bit biased, but went back Today for a glass of wine. Really good. It was mulled wine (hot) and it was so good. Great vibe. Great views. Friendly staff. Worth the short drive from JMU

Beautifully located by Harrisonburg. We went there for the Weihnachtsmarkt and it was absolutely fabulous! Seating areas with open flame fire pits made it so cozy. One could also sit inside and enjoy festive decor. The best part was the Food truck from the Bavarian Chef. It was so delicious!! There were a variety of vendors with unique gift ideas, like candles that looked and smelled like desserts. I will definitely come back next yeat.

Excellent wines and a fantastic location! There are charming little souvenirs to purchase. I adore the outdoor spaces, especially the fire pits and chairs that offer great views. The interior is inviting, although I never seem to get the chance to sit by the fire. The staff is consistently kind, helpful, and very friendly.
