Beautiful country pub and eating laundry in a picturesque village in rural dorset. I had the beef, the mushroom and the aale with seasonal vegetables and bratkartoffeln. everything was really well cooked and the portion size is quite impressive. the waiting for eating can be a bit long to busy times, but the quality of food more than does on this and does not distract from the overall experience. the personal is friendly and welcoming and was very understanding despite our late arrival (two accidents on the a35, not ideal! . a wonderful experience all around. highly recommended. ps. ignore the bad reviews. there is nothing to complain about here. for those of you who have it, maybe another try. they will not be disappointed.
